Club
Live Overview:
After the success of Friday Night Live, many middle school
youths were saying what about us? Junior High
students face the same pressures and have issues they want
to deal with as well. As a result in 1990 Club Live came to
be. Kern Countys Cecil Avenue Middle School in Delano
was the first school to have a Club Live. Club Live now has
over 375 chapters across California.
Club Live promotes a positive lifestyle and positive activity
alternatives to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. Some of
the most popular activities are dances and all night lock-ins.
These events are planned and organized by the youth. Club
Live is strictly youth driven and lead.
If you want to see issues addressed at your school whether
it is drugs, violence, eating disorders, peer pressure etc.
